This place is a hidden gem, even though it’s been around for many years. Everyone here is a master at what they do. The cuts are always great and it’s reasonably priced. In my opinion, there are so many barbershops in the Chicago area that are overpriced and don’t always deliver. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and have never been disappointed. Cesar always hooks it up. The attention to detail is always appreciated. I don’t see myself going anywhere else. I referred my buddy to this place and he too was pleasantly surprised with the service he received. To book an appointment all you have to do is go to their website and follow the instructions. Highly recommend!

Ruben’s barbershop is the best shop I’ve been to in my life and I’m a loyal customer now. I’ve gotten haircuts (fades) and beard trims with Cesar and Nino and they are both incredible at what they do. The whole team is professional and laid back and their rates are very reasonable for such a high quality of service. Highly recommend Ruben’s!!

True craftsmen. Best haircut in the area and potentially the city. No frills, hard work, friendly, reasonable price. Trust me, if you're thinking about coming here, give it a shot. Chances are you'll leave happy with an amazing cut.

I just moved to Illinois and have been looking for a place for a while to get a haircut. I called Rubens and the person on the phone was super helpful. Because of that, I came in the next day to get a haircut from him. You can tell that everyone there works hard and wants the customer to be happy. I worked with Flavio and he did an awesome job! He spent a good amount of time with me and checked in throughout to make sure that I was satisfied with my haircut. I will be back to get haircut again! I would suggest working with Flavio if you can. He’s professional, friendly and gives a great haircut, But I have a feeling you will be happy with anyone who works there. Thank you!

Been going to Ruben's for over 5 years now and I'll never change barbershops. I used to live around the corner but now live 40mins away. So long as I'm in Chicago I will always make it to Ruben's for a cut. Hector is my go to guy and delivers every single time. The rest of the staff all know what they're doing and the few times I've had to use someone else I've left happy. 10/10.

Where do I start with Ruben‘s best barbershop in Chicago. All the barbers there have great talent. I’ve personally cut my hair with everyone there, but my goat guy is Cesar. I would recommend anyone coming here to get a cut. You’ll be in great hands. Keep up the Good work, Cesar
